Spring is here
As I sit up late watching our Blue Devils get spanked, I thought I would get on my blog as it has been a while. No real excuse really, just busy as usual. I had my Fox appearance this week. Someday we will figure out how to get the videos off of the DVR and get them on YouTube again for you all to see. My topic was tips for Spring Cleaning. I do find something about the air that makes me feel the need to clean, just like hormones did it to me while pregnant.
I have been trying to rotate the kids clothes, clean out the fridge and freezer and do other not so often done tasks lately, so I gave my tips online. The big one is divide the tasks up. Last night Arnie and I did about 80%o of the yard in less than an hour, just put our minds to it and got it done. Last weekend Arnie cleaned out the van. Just find an hour and pick a tough chore and conquer it. I find something fulfilling about it for the most part, and at least it isn't the toilet.
In between all my spring cleaning we are heading to Whistler for Spring Break next week. This will be our third time, which for those of you who know us well know is very unusual. We like to try new places all the time. But we have been so happy with the ski school there and the people that we just go back rather than risk it. The snow is always good, usually not too cold and great accommodations. I wish it was a little easier to get to, a direct flight would be nice, but other than that it is great. Now if I can only get all my packing done.
Perhaps my other excuse is Idol. The Zucker family is into it more than ever and love the group. We were all shocked tonight, I though it would be Theah (sp?) for sure. Wasn't sure if Casey was going to be back in the hospital or not with how he reacted, was quite over the top.
Next month I am doing my segment on "the most helpful apps for busy moms"...if you have any favorites please send them to me so I can check them out, and tell me why you love them.
THANKS!!!
